Kotahitanga o te Whanau

A whanau-centric response model to working with children in state care (2017-current)

This model utilises whānau and wider community as resources required for the outcomes for the child or young person.  It is a Maori model with focus on the collective outcomes and not just the individual outcomes for each member. For example the model will facilitate positive change and outcomes for the tamariki/rangitahi , the caregivers, the social workers, the stakeholders and the community.
